I am Alexis,

a veteran People leader with more than 15 years of hands-on experience partnering with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams in entrepreneurial organizations navigating growth, change, and increasing complexity.

My background spans media, technology, and regulated scientific and manufacturing environments, where I’ve been responsible for the full employee experience: talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and rewards, compliance, investigations, organizational development, and change management. I’ve also led the operational side of business operations, including payroll administration, leave and time tracking, HRIS and people technology and broad IT strategy—because HR only works when it holds up in practice.

Much of my career has been spent building People and HR functions from the ground up, often as the first senior leader in the role. I’ve supported distributed workforces across 20 states, led turnaround and scale efforts, and partnered closely with founders during moments when decisions about people carried real business consequences.

For organizations, I work with founders, leaders, and boards to align people performance to business success. I partner with leaders through moments of growth and change, helping them move from intention to execution.

For professionals at key moments of career transition, I provide practical, hands-on support for what comes next. I work with individuals who are exploring new roles, preparing for senior leadership, or reassessing their direction.

I hold the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential from the Society for Human Resource Management.

I am based in the Midwest and partner with clients across the US.
